Hackl informed some ppl before it was official and we had a discussion what "clan based" does really mean for you.

There are certainly some ppl who are in a clan, but they want to play with others (non-clan-mates) to have better chances, so is it allowed to create an "ESO-only" clan just for the time of the tourney?

Or is it, for example, necessary that the two players have been in the same clan for, uhm, let's say two weeks?


We didn't find out what you really want. Is it a 2v2-tourney, with a slightly higher skill-level or do you want to emphasise the "clan-based", so the tourney would most likely more exciting.


Or well, for example i know of [ACC]Groni, who is the best player in his clan by far so it doesn't make sense for him to play with one of his clan mates (well... he likes them, so he definitely won't really leaven the clan) so he'd like to play with some other guy.

We would like to see teams formed by players from same and real clan... and fake clanmakers will be not welcomed in future Legion AoE3 events for sure But obviously, we can't expect only people who are in their clans for over 1 year to participate, so it all depends on people's personality and each one's judgement of own values.

Yea a civilisation rule stoping double civs would be nice.

Would be great to see Grunt in this tournament!
But he is not comming I think...
He is great, but already have enough money and he's very unsocial though.
But already there's great experts ready to play.... It will be very rock n' roll.

THE 'BiS' afraid???
As harder as could be a fight, as good would to be the tournament I think...
Is really necessary to do 'Civs restrictions' ??
I know, im rook... But 2k+ don't need to clain so hard for 'easier' championship.
But would be bothering to see every game only Gers x Gers with some Spains...
Why not to do a "Civ-Based" tournament???
For exemple::
3 Games by matches.
Each game must be different Civs than that ones from last game.
If you used, for exemple, Gers and your teammate used Spanish: The next game against same team, You can't use your same Civ AND you can't use that Civ your teammate used too. So you need to manage carefully your civs usage. Because if you are planning to play every game with your best Civ, will to be Gers vs Gers till the end of the tournament.
It would be interesting to see different Civs in big championships...
This way it would look like this:

GAME#1
Grunt - Spain
BiS - German
vs
Some1 - German
Any1 - French

GAME#2 -{Can't be same Civs from last game}
Grunt - (Other Civ than Spain OR Germ)

and what happen if ppl have only high level home cities with 1 civ only? they play next games with lvl1 HC?? sounds weird....

just don't allow same civ if you make changes

good idea but you forgot ppl who play only one civ. i play since 1.01 german, i have only 1 competitive homecity (german105) and 2 xtremly low homecity (brits14, spanish10)

same than cracking, lvl 105 spa and lvl 20 russians (only age2 and 1 card...) and 20 french/dutch, and 10 ger,


PD: Wolfrox, do people play with a civ that they dont know will decrease tourney playing lvl and fun seeing a lot, do people DONT ABUSE about an OP civ atm is normal....
